Wall Street Horizon Adds International Index Constituents To Global Dataset

Corporate event data provider Wall Street Horizon has expanded its global dataset to include nearly 1,000 new companies, encompassing the constituents of all major European and Asian indices.

The company has offered a limited international data set on an a la carte basis since 2008, but the expansion means Wall Street Horizon’s full Enchilada platform – which tracks dozens of event types including earnings dates, dividend dates, options expiration dates, splits, spinoffs and investor conferences – now extends beyond the 5,000+ North America companies currently covered.

The new addition will expand more than 40 corporate event datasets for companies in the FTSE 100, CAC 40, DAX 30, Hang Seng 50, Nikkei 225, EAFE and Dow Jones STOXX 1000 constituent companies, according to a statement.

“Investors of all types – from the traditional discretionary shops to the most advanced quants – are coming to the same conclusion: edge today is increasingly found in data, and the quality of that data makes all the difference in the world,” said Barry Star, CEO of Wall Street Horizon, in the statement. “We’ve built a business on that belief, which is why we’re so excited to offer this expanded dataset to our clients.”

The broadened dataset will be in full production by September 1, the company added. It will be accessible via API, the Enchilada web-based application, or a growing number of third-party channel partners such as Thomson Reuters Eikon, Markit Hub Horizon, and ICE’s Market-Q.

Founded in 2003 and based outside Boston, Wall Street Horizon provides institutional investors and traders with comprehensive information and data about corporate events such as earnings dates, dividend dates, options expiration dates, splits and investor conferences.
