Software Specialist JMI Equity Promotes Contrella, Chang

Private equity company JMI Equity has promoted Larry Contrella to principal and Paul Chang to vice president. 

Contrella joined the firm in 2010 and is based in Baltimore. Prior to joining JMI, he was an investment banking analyst in the multi-industries group at Merrill Lynch & Co. He received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. 

Chang joined the firm in 2013 and is based in San Diego. Before joining JMI, he was an investment banking analyst in the technology, media, and telecommunications group at Jefferies LLC. He received an AB in Economics from Brown University.
