FIRSTavenue Names Tehranian To Key U.S. Project Management Post

Global private placement specialist FIRSTavenue has named former Meketa Investment Group executive Chris Tehranian as principal and head of U.S. project management.

In his new role, Tehranian will be responsible for the development and management of the U.S. project management team as well as further increasing FIRSTavenue’s presence in the infrastructure and real asset placement business, according to the company. He will be based in New York.

Tehranian brings 15 years of experience to his new position and has extensive knowledge of the private market infrastructure and energy spaces, the company continued. Prior to joining FIRSTavenue, he spent ten years at Meketa as head of infrastructure research, where he was responsible for managing the firm’s infrastructure and real assets private market practice, including client consulting, sourcing of investments, due diligence and business development.  

Founded in 2012, London-based FIRSTavenue has raised $5.6 billion in commitments for infrastructure and real asset businesses over the last five years. The company is a global advisory and capital placement agent focused on private funds, private companies and their significant investors in both the developed and the developing worlds.
