Gridiron Capital Promotes Jackson To Senior Role

New Canaan-based private equity company Gridiron Capital has promoted Kevin Jackson to senior managing director and part of the firm’s investment committee. 

Jackson joined Gridiron Capital in 2010 as a vice president and was promoted to managing director in 2012, the company said in a statement. He is a director on the boards of several of Gridiron Capital’s portfolio companies. 

Prior to joining Gridiron, Jackson was a senior associate at PE firm CCMP Capital, where he was responsible for all aspects of transaction execution and portfolio company management, primarily in the healthcare, industrial and consumer sectors.  Beforehand, Jackson was an analyst at Credit Suisse in the Global Industrial & Services group in New York. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Oberlin College and has an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Founded in 2006 and based in New Canaan, CT, Gridiron Capital focuses on acquiring and building middle-market manufacturing, services and specialty consumer companies in the United States and Canada. The company raised $850 million in capital commitments for its third buyout fund in October 2016.
